Carole emails that reservations can now be made for the Great Lakers August 19-21 rally at Indiana Dunes State Park. But don’t wait because this state park fills up and it just opened for reservations today. Cost is $25/night with tax for one of the 140 electric sites (all 50 amps) and must be paid in advance. However, as long as you cancel 8 days in advance you would only lose $10, and if more than 8 days you would be charged one night’s stay.
You can reserve online by clicking here then selecting “RV sites”under “I’m looking for” (at top left), “Indiana Dunes” under “Park name”, “August 19″ (or date you want to arrive) under the “Arrival date” calendar, and indicate the number of nights of your stay. Then pick your campsite and hit “Search”. Click here to download a PDF map of all campsites with electric. Carole and Renee will be in campsite 121 and right now all but one near them are available (i.e., sites in the 120s and 130s and a couple of 90s). You can also reserve by calling 1-866-622-6746.
When you have made a reservation, please contact Carole (1-708-285-5244) or Renee (1-708-373-5607) or by e-mail caroleagoodwin at sbcglobal dot net to let them know you are coming.
Enjoy images of Indiana Dunes State Park by clicking here to watch the slide show. Hugging the southern shores of Lake Michigan with a view toward Chicago is pretty spectacular. The entire shoreline is part of the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore.
